Will it be PR when Microsoft releases the Xbox One X numbers saying that it meet their expectations?

This is the type of comments that should be saved for later.

The very definition of PR.  Its PR people that say these things.  Your post is a little odd.  So yes, if and when MS say that it will most certainly be PR.

PR people dont set the expectations of a certain product.

PR people are just the voice of the company.

If Sony said that the PSVR meet their expectations, that is not "Just PR", thats is literally Sony saying that IT DID meet their expectations.

And considering the PSVR have small stocks all around they aren't having high inventory to say they aren't meeting expectations... the only thing that can be discussed on the more objetive side is if these expectations are low or not.

Exactly!

I find it creepy. Like hopping into a shower with a vomiting woman creepy.

Not sure if anybody remembers the site but I read on gaf that psvr has sold close to 250k in Japan alone.

At least if you do it in VR you won't get in trouble. The headset might not be waterproof though. Use a shower cap.

"Through June of 2017, tracking firm Superdata put the PSVR installed base at more than 1.8 million headsets"

Seems plausible, even if superdata way off on other predictions.

Also: "an "unmatched" lead over the other headsets on the market."

Totally screwed lol

Critical thinking is required here.

Why would any company desire more competition in the market? After all, competition cuts into profit margins.
