I love this game so much...

The Switch version of Voez, has sold over 40,000 copies worldwide. Voez is currently being sold only as an eShop title. However, it was announced today that a physical version is coming to Japan. A release is planned towards the start of 2018.

One big addition in the physical release is support for Switch’s TV Mode. Voez only supports handheld play at present, but you’ll be able to play with a controller as opposed to the touchscreen. Other unnamed features are also planned.

Is that good or bad?Does someone know the budget of the game and how much it sold in mobile?

So the digital version will remain handheld only?

That's very good for a port of such an extremely niche kind of game like this, I don't know the budget but I think its obviously a very low one

Voez sold for $25 each on the eShop, with 40k sales that equates to around $1m in total revenue.

I don't believe this game was very popular on iOS/Android in its lifespan on both platforms. Although I did download it to try it out in the early days of its release on iOS. And the microtransactions for the free game was about $100 total which probably most people didn't even bother with.

I could see it possible that Voez gave the company a lot more profit on the Switch than it did on smartphones/tablets.

That sounds good for a game like that. The visuals do looks nice!

I think they are just using the Switch's controller.

I wonder why that feature is only for the physical version then...

I could be wrong.
Maybe they will add it later, or something was lost in translation.
