Is it possible that Splatoon 2 is drastically undertracked by VGC?
Our last shipped+digital numbers are from end of september with 3.61 million. Yet VGC has physical sold though as of 18th of November six weeks later at only 2.85.

That is a 760k gap with the added benefit of six weeks of sales. That would either suggest insane overstocking, a very high digital ratio, or undertracking.

Yes, either Splatoon 2 is massively undertracked or VGC is banking on a +50% digital rate in the west, otherwise the numbers don't add up at all

Well, as of september 30th VGC had Splatoon 2 at 2.39, making it a 1.22 million gap. Assuming a 20% ww digital ratio that would make 722k, leaving 489k for shelves, warehouses and in transit, wich is possible I suppose. 20% would be a pretty unprecedented digital ratio for a nintendo game, but seeing that Splatoon 2 is one of those games that you'd want to have always at the ready to play a few rounds, maybe?

Machina said that it will probably be adjusted up slightly in france and other european territories as well as maybe in the US, but the adjustments arent going to be huge.

Nintendos quarterly report will be interesting for sure.

Yeah Splatoon 2 is probably undertracked by a fair amount, but nothing crazy. Another one is Xenoverse 2... We are likely to have few adjustments after next Nintendo report.

On another note, my image hosting site went down and I had to relink every image in the two opening posts....

I did add Sonic Mania while I was at it.

Thank you for all the work you put into this thread.

SMO will soon take over the lead from BotW. I wonder if MK8D will in a long run get past SMO again, due to better legs.

Maybe Mario & Rabbids will need two weeks to pass a million. The newest tracked week included Black Friday so it might sell less the next one.

Ok, I was able to find Let's Sing 2018 and Lumo in the database and I did add them to the list...I can't figure out why they do not appear on the Switch top selling list.

There are now 76 games in the list. While we reach 100 sometimes this year, games outside this top 100 will be shown in alphabetical order with only the total sale number updated. This way, the updates should stay in the "couple of hours" range which I am fine with.

Also, Is there a known limit to how big an OP can be ? lol

I did add averages in the "Top retail publishers" list (poor Square and Koei...).
