I really don't have a top 5, but here's two that I like from the top of my head:
Glados (Portal 2)
Pagan Min (Farcry 4)
Vaas is overrated.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

It's easy to get hung up on old games and nostalgia in topics like this. Of recent years i like Comstock, The Witches from The Witcher 3, robot dude from Doom, the bad guy from Assassin Creed: Syndicate and the gorilla man from Halo Wars 2 would have been good if they just used him more.
