Forums - Gaming Discussion - Rare/Obscure games running on emulators

As per Miguel_Zorro's suggestion to make threads for the rarer games that may be lost without preservation, I decided to find videos of rarer games running on an emulator

Now, I realize that some of these games are unlicensed games, and others are prototypes, but being the fan of development that I am, I believe that the preservation of these should also be a priority. These have a much higher chance of being lost.

Another good one : D

Ah yes, I remember hearing about that!! There's also a rare Army of Darkness game for the 2600 too I believe.

Where would we be today without the masterpiece that is Hong Kong 97?

Certainly a much worse off place. Who could forget Chin, the greatest video game character of all time?

I'd like to point out that Earthbound Beginnings on the Wii U VC seems to be exactly the same as the English version of Mother 1 that was dumped from a beta cart in the late 90s.

I wonder if Nintendo is still in possession of any beta carts or if the VC version was obtained from online.

This thread needs more Steven Seagal.

Wow, these are indeed some pretty, uh, rare/obscure games. I wonder if all of those even run on the original system(s).
