I feel like the majority of PC-Only gamers are people who got a bad console experience from MS and now think that all consoles are that way.

LOL...No worries. Theres a bigger picture here. I dont think he realizes that Xbox no longer has anything to do with a console. Thats the problem. Plus...if I switch to PC i dont have to pay for live anymore.

Halo and Gears is all Microsoft has and they have not has a compelling new IP since 2006 so....thats eleven years. Gears has already jumped ship to PC with higher resolution in general. They cant replace a heavy hitter without scouting out a dev who is already in development and bag their titles exclusivity. Look at how they got Halo and Gears. They scouted out devs mid development. The plan that Microsoft failed to unfold last gen with Windows live resurfaced again with Windows 10 Xbox and instead of Just halo coming over to PC they threw all of the major first party on the ship.

Also... the original Xbox was more powerful than PCs when it came out. Discounting the mouse advantage, was literally the best place to play those games.

Pros: There are 6-8 good current gen strategy games for it like Civ VI, Endless Space II, etc. It's the best place to play indies since they are so much cheaper than the console versions, and Indies are usually digital only.
Cons: Digital Only, Limited library of modern games, Complicated and annoying to deal with, mouse/keyboard is uncomfortable, but needed for a lot of games, ridiculously expensive hardware for minimal graphics returns, hardware isn't worth anything five years down the road, and fails shortly after that.
Things I don't care about: Graphics, Backwards compatibility (I already own everything since the dawn of time), Mods.

So it's absically worth a lot less to play on PC than console?.
I know you could come up with a counter, but the cons you've listed clearly outweigh the pros. Really it's your general opinion on what you think about PC. I don't think it's objective to say everyone had a bad experience with Xbox and dislike all the other systems, there are people out there who just don't like consoles and like gaming on PC. I've been doing fine so far with my 3DS for handheld gaming and PC for what I want for everything else.
