The first game had Hannah running around in her underwear and using her body to survive situations. It was great and had a fair amount of fan service.

Amazing game. The controls are okay if you're used to games with tank controls.
The only problem is opening the inventory and navigating it was awkward and it didn't pause the game. Some boss battles required constant movement(not easy with tank controls) and using your inventory so things could become pretty complicated.
I assume the "modern modifications" will be a better inventory system and traditional controls.

Also, for anyone excited about lesbians, there's no such thing in the original.
That only existed in Fear Effect: Retro Helix a prequel of the original.

When that was announced, I didn't have the internet. I could only see still shots in magazines. Thank you for posting that. All these years and I can finally see it in motion.

Ok. I'm ok with this.

The thing is this was one of the games that pioneered a stylised comic book shaded art style (or close) and it will be difficult to replicate. But it is vital that they do as that is what made the game unique.
Looking at the teaser, it doesn't look to be a total misfire. Might be able to pull it off. Needs the prequal though.
