The truck that was used in the Berlin attack was equipped with such a system, that's why the number of casualities was lower than planned. The attacker's plan was to drive straight through the masses at full speed, but the automatic brake system slowed him down and changed his direction. It also forced him to immediately run off by foot to escape the crime scene. The number of deaths and injured people was still high, so such technology can't be the solution. After all, it's physically impossible to slow down a vehicle to a stand still in time when it's deliberately driven off the street at high speed and right into a large group of people.

These systems only work when it comes to normal driving in city areas. Stopping a vehicle that drives at 30 kph/20 mph on a short distance is feasible.

You could always have physical blockages separating roads and pedestrian areas. But that would be a big task.

I've been busy this year, don't have as much time for forums But I remember your argument was bs either way.

There's no need for creating such countries, since there already are many such countries. All we need to do is keep them that way. And please don't mix muslims and Middle Easterners, since these are two different groups of people.

I'd love to see you react to our TV debates on terrorism and islam. What I'm saying here is mild in comparison

These terror attacks are usually directed at any country that is identified as representation of the Western capitalistic world. That Poland doesn't suffer from attacks is not because of their immigration policies, but because it is Poland.

Right. Cause they have no reason to attack us whatsoever. Not only are we the posterboy for being the most religious Christian nation in Europe, but did you know that when Iraq was invaded, the country was divided into 4 occupational zones - two controlled by US, one by UK and one by Poland? You probably didn't know this, but rest assured, they do know. We've been present in Afghanistan for years now as well and we're still there. We are America's most faithful, but yeah, let's ignore all that. It can't be our policies, people in the Middle East simply don't see our soldiers as part of the Western World... I mean, they obviously value the intricacies of the division caused decades ago by the Iron Curtain much more...

Bottom line is, muslims can't perform a terrorist attack in a place they cannot enter!

Sadly, attacks in France, Spain, Germany, UK, Benelux are already so mainstream, that people shrug these news faster and faster. First ones were shocking, but now - meh, these are just "incidents, which are part of living in a big city". We're scared that an attack in a new country that is considered safe is very tempting for these nuts. And considering the Golden Lady Angela settled millions of them right at our border, they can drive here at any time... Bloody Schengen, I hope our government doesn't hesitate to leave it should our intelligence detect danger.

You were off to a decent start, but towards the end it reads like outright paranoia.

He's okay with millions of people dying if it helps confirm his belief that they're all untrustworthy savages. Nothing suspicious there at all...
