Again making assumptiuons.

Hah, yeah they were looking so great that MS felt cancelling them was a good move. That makes sense.

Word around was Scalebound was a mess, Fable Legends was boring, and Phantom Dust had budget proble s for a niche product.

MS certainly needs more games, but that stuff as is was not great.

Scalebound looked great IMO

Most people would say that it looked even better than Crackdown 3 in its current state.

You are obviously in your right to disagree, but basing your opinion in rumors and shit (Word around was...) doesnt make it any more valid.

I dare to say that Scalebound was the thing that Xbox needed the most. A fresh concept that steers away from the shooting genre made from a legit developer.

3DS won't sell more than the Xbox One this year. /thread

Switch could snatch some 3DS market share away with good titles or a price cut.

Crackdown 3 has been shown to be a functional product and live demoed. It was likely delayed for polish reasons. At the very least, it seems to be more Crackdown.

I would argue a game like Recore is something Xbox needed as well. But the final product was panned, maybe the Definitive version can make it a more notable game.

I do think a game like Scalebound is something Xbox needs. Especially if they can find a developer that can make it something great like Horizon. Bad games often have unreached potential, but people often see cancelled games as great releases we simply didnt get.

Yes, you assume cancelled games are great because we never get the chance to really see they suck.

Although, I did personally see Fable Legends sucked.

I gave you the actual reasons they were cancelled. You just defended the decision as bad games just to get a reaction from me, just to win on teh internetz. Good for you. I never said they looked good nor bad. Just MS makes bad decisions which is true as shown by this entire generation.

BTW the part about scalebound that didn't look good was the online multiplayer that MS made them force in for an enegine not meant for it since MS has a policy for everything from now on has to be online.

By your logic every X1 game should be online, which isn't the case.

Years of development and they couldn't find a solution to multiplayer? The UE engine is pretty robust but they couldn't figure it out? I dunno, doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Eitherway, safe to assume there is more we aren't hearing.

What a wrong first sentence lol. Not my logic. It's Microsoft's logic. I am the last person who gives a flying fuck about online. I never play online. Ever. MS is the one who admitted they want everything online. Spencer did. Also sick of seeing this topic in blue so ignoring it now.

Yes. Not every X1 game is online right now. But Microsoft's push for online is obvious now. Because every big AAA game from them is multiplayer-focused. The only games that are not multiplayer-focused and can even not have a multiplayer at all are small titles and indies like Recore, Ori, Super Lucky's Tale, etc. Also, there is no point to add multiplayer in these games because they definitely won't sell on Halo/Gears/Forza, even maybe Crackdown levels. But every Microsoft's big AAA games are multiplayer-focused these days.
