And Trump deserves blame. He's more decisive in blaming Nordstorm for not carrying Ivanka's handbags than he is to condemn white supremasists. He is a weasal president and he won't clearly condemn them because he knows they are an important bloc of his voter base.

I think that guy is trying to say that he doesn't like to get his face punched every time he goes out, you know, self-defense is justifiable.

I've seen this coming for years. This is what happens when people get hyper upsessed with identity politics, further fueled by MSM sensationalism for ratings. People start buying into this shit, violence erupts, and people die. I'd like to say this is only going to be a one and done incident, but sadly in my heart I know this is not true. I have a feeling it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Extremism is winning on both sides right now, and as a classical/moderate liberal, it really saddens me.

There's nothing "to see coming". There's been white supremasists for a long time, hate to say it but "moderate liberals" are very good at convincing themselves that there is no problem and it doesn't exist. 

No sometimes in life there's a thing called conflict, and it requires action. Not everything is a bed of roses.

The more you back a group into a corner the more they'll lash out. I would guess things will get worse before they get better especially as people focus on minimizing others' voices instead of converting them

Now, being familiar with fascist history, I can tell you this: any significant victory against fascism was achieved by beating them back.
