Forums - Gaming Discussion - Switch exclusives vs PS4 exclusives 2017

Hmm, I have Yakuza 0, Persona 5. Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy for the PS4, and Breath of the Wild for the Switch. There's probably more exclusives that I want for the PS4, but I'm very excited for Super Mario Odyssey, so that kind of evens things out a little bit.

Around the Network

I think Nintendo Definitely wins with Zelda and Mario in one year and fairly well spaced out. If Sony had something like GoW or Spiderman for the holiday, then it would be more of a tie. PS4 is definitely a bit dry this holiday with only GT Sport (off the top of my head) but as a whole year, they got a ton of fantastic exclusives.

Uh... Yakuza 0 is only available on PS3 in Japan and has no english setting, you would have to mod your console just to play normally. It should not be included in that.

But if you really want to discredit a list that badly... lol

Okay then, 20%.

Either way I said 'a good chunk' not 'Most'.

If 20% of people hold a belief, that's a good chunk of people. If 20% of your games aren't exclusives to Switch or PS4 that's a good chunk of games.

Fair enough. I'll admit i'm not being consistent, because I'm usually the first person to correct someone when they use the term exclusive incorrectly. But you know, you could just ignore those titles : D I don't know, I agree they aren't real exclusives and usually wouldn't add them, I guess I just feel like they're such a big part of the line up whereas I think most multiplats don't have that same effect even if they're more popular. They're like .. part of the Playstation bloodline if that makes sense.

Not considering Yakuza Kiwami, Ys 8, Danganrompa 3 and Tokyo Xanadu?

I'm not a PS4 index hahaa, you can add those if they help you make a decision! Yakuza Kiwami I almost included but i didn't want to be repetitive. I guess I'll add it.

let's compare the first year of the switch with the first year of the ps4.

Hands down the Switch. Sony is known to get better as time goes by. WIth them its not about the long haul.
