Malaysia?

Isn't that the country with a president who is objectively worse than Trump?

No, that's the Phillipines.

OT: I wonder how big PS (and gaming in general) is in SE Asia. Guess it's big enough to get events like this now, but just how big?

Ah, right. Then I'm sure this will be a great show.

It'a amazing how much of the market potential is still unused. Africa, Asia and still majority of Eastern Europe.

LOL.  Objectively worse than Trump based on?

Anyway, on topic.  South East Asia I believe has more PS fans than XBOX.  And the versions which would get English, plus Chinese and other easter languages back in the days.  But sometimes the EU version of the games would be similar to what SG, MY, etc would get.  Those were the PS1 days on that region. :)

Glad to see Sony continue to invest to SEA region.  Gaming is very high on that region, but more on PC games like MOBA, etc.  But I have a ton of friends which are hardcore PS fans.

Malaysia, a.k.a the only place that "legally" sells "new" totally "legit" copies of the original Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Good to see shows crop up in new places. Wonder if there will be any news from this PSX?

Yes, the news will be "Sony disappoints everyone by not announcing 20 new AAA games"

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

The president of the Phillipines is LITERALLY encouraging people to murder drug addicts. Not vaguely through a Tweet. Not suggesting that drug addicts aren't worthy of life while in private company. He's straight up TELLING the people of the Phillipines to kill drug addicts, and that the crime will be waived for the greater good. Not only that, but they will be REWARDED.

Off topic. I'm from Philippines.  and I say it is fine.  I doubt law abiding citizens would really commit  murder.  Petty thieves when they are caught in the street by normal people, they'll literally beat the hell up to the thief.  Because people are disgusted with these criminals and they don't want to try to work hard and go for crime.

Street kids are 'rugby addicts' cheapest way to get high.   These street kids would pull earrings on any woman like grab and run.   Those who uses poor man's cocaine (meth/shabu), they can commit crimes like taping a 2 year old and hide it in a cabinet and of course the kid will die, was on the news last week.  Raping 2 women by 3-4 drug addicts which happened recently too.  One of the criminal confessed and rat out his accomplices, and few days later, one by one those suspects died.  it may be a vigilante doing it, and I'm not saying it is the right thing to do.  But they are scum in that place feel really sad for the normal people.
