Forums - Gaming Discussion - Dead or Alive Xtreme Sense Will Let Players Smell Girls And Get Splashed In “Sense VR”

What do virtual girls smell like. Hot electronics and burned transistors?

What they should do is spread the smell of fresh baked cookies or juicy bbq stake, then exit to the food stand! Yet it's Japan so it wouldn't surprise me if you can get life size doa dolls at the gift shop on the way out.

Edited the thread title so it didn't have the link to the article in it.

only Japan will do that kinda stuff

Hopefully the smell gas will include a drug that will stop you from feeling bad after using one of these machines...

(impressive nonetheless)

I remember a trip to Disney land, where you put on 3D glasses and watch a movie in 3D, and at some point theres "bubbles" in the movies.... and they look real.

Then your mind blows when you try to pop one, and its actually a real soap bubble, a bubble machine blew.
The bubbles half of them are from the movie & 3D glasses the rest are real.

Maybe theres a future in this sort of thing for VR.

That said.... "smell" girls? whaaat?

Yeah I think they call it "4D". I saw one for happy feet. They actually bring mist into the theater if it's misty on the screen, add bubbles. shake your sea or even spray you with water if there's a splash of water on screen. It was an amazing experience, although very unfeasible for commercial purchase as it requires a purpose built and maintained theater for that kind of thing.

I could see the smell being of tropical beach & ocean, with the scent of sunscreen oil & maybe perfume that gets stronger the closer you get to the girls. If they can put a heater in there and mist & splash you with water where appropriate, I could see this being cooler than it should be.

Are people really that desperate?

Oh kinky...

VR technology doesn't cease to amaze me

We're getting close...

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
