I don't prefer this over what we had back then, but I understand why we have it the way it is. Software is one month behind for more accuracy (at least I think it might be for that), and hardware is around 2 months behind to wait for some shipments/sell-through reports (NPD specifically, maybe with some official statements by Nintendo/MS/Sony). Hardware has to be at least one month behind for that to work. 



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

That only justifies US being behind though. VGC should have more up to date figures for Europe and Japan still. Especially Japan considering Media Create and Famitsu are available to check.

True, but they update every region's individual week before moving to the next week. The site would need *cough* to change/update to fix that.

If it wasn't for a very active forum this site would have died last year. The place is slowly dying.
