Unfortunately that is the question I always have to ask when I start a new Rocket League game
Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

I knew it! I fucking KNEW this was going to be a Rocket League thread. Didn't you make a thread like this a few months ago?

the problem with multiplayer team based games.
League of legends is like that too.

I believe I have made at least two before this one

HA! I knew this was about Rocket League. Today I played myself in solo 3s a bit. I was unranked since I didn't play it so I had to fight through from Bronze. Had a winning streak until Plat 1. I think there starts matchmaking hell. Where the opponents become a bit too good for me to carry alone anymore and your mates are good enough to go for difficult shots but you never know if they will actually hit them, which makes it a fun guessing game. I'm pretty sure if I played a bit better I'd be plat 3 now. Things should normalize in Diamond where I'll be the one who needs to be carried^^
At least I learned that there isn't a lot of difference between Bronze and Gold.

Me when I play competitive Overwatch.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
