I said in another thread that as a big fan of DS/Bloodborne, my wish was for From to make a sci-fi horror Souls ...the setting would be a huge derelict spaceship, with the levels and layout of the ship cleverly interconnected like the world in DS1, and that they would take inspiration from H.R. Giger designs, famous for his work on the original ALIEN movie.

Because I love the world it is set in. Bloodbirne completely absorbed me, and after it I cannot go back to Dark Souls. Even Dark Souls 3 left me bored rather quickly.

Bloodborne did flesh out the lore well, however anything can be expanded upon with good writing.

Well, I don't think it negates the lore or BB's "story". The endings can be used to push another story forward, do a prequel or just another hunters nightmare. It could also just be a remagining of BB. I'd reckon 90% of the people who love bloodborne, me included, love it for i'ts near perfection to that gameplay and genre that it is. 

Agreed, the gameplay was great. And besides, there is more to the world than just Yharnam. Who's to say this kind of stuff only happened there?
