My favourite song by them used to be A Nightmare to Remember, I still do like that song quite a bit.

I liked the first band quite a bit. Definitely heard them somewhere.

This band is relatively popular here in Belgium (because the singer is very well-known), but I doubt anyone here on VGChartz will know them.

I've seen Avenged live but personally I don't like them but my girlfriend does so I went for her sake, luckily BloodSimple was their support act and were much MUCH better than Avenged sevenfold were, the best thing was, my girlfriend who loves A7x even admitted BloodSimple were better.

Nice list you've got here. I've never though of Deep purple as heavy metal, always classified in hard rock, just checked my iPod. I wonder the same about dream theater, never saw it fit in the metal group.

Funny to see Dio(rip), Ozzy and black sabbath in the same list as alternatives. They're truly not the same thing, but due to the incestuous relationship the two singer had with sabbath, if think of them as part of the same family.

They did the soundtrack for Guided Fate Paradox (PS3) and a couple of anime openings (such as the 2nd vid being the opening for Mirai Nikki)

Wish they would do more game soundtracks, never played GFP but the songs for it are amazing and I would love boss battles with their stuff. It just fits so well.

Yes I marathoned that show. Manga ending much better though.

I think video game soundtracks in general could be much better, a lot more effort per $ was made in the 90s and it showed with some stellar soundtracks.
