Finished Xenoblade Chronicles!
Took almost a month! Seriously one of the best JRPGs I've played. Definitely top 5 in term of story! The games set you up so well with so much action, lots of plot twists, etc. What's really good is the different environments. The little hub worlds feel very unique compared to something I've seen like in FF XV or Tales of for example. Main cast is pretty good for the most part, some characters fall off a little. Main villains make the game extremely enjoyable. Story is deep, meaningful, and not overly complicated. Lot of really good lore to be seen in this game. Gameplay I was hooked from day one! It's a little slow, but very engaging. Design for the monsters are another big plus. Side quests are big negative for me. I liked how when I finished some they auto turned them in, but most are repetitive and bland, giving you little idea of what to find without a guide, or where to find it. most boil down to kill x enemy or collect y ingredients. Framerate is pretty shit when the game throws a lot at your, that's for one thing, lot of pop in too. That's to be expected with the sheer scope of the game on the Wii!
Overall probably the second best JRPG I've played this year!
