On concerns about Switch breaking and losing progress in Zelda…

It is well understood. For a person who has 100 shrines, I understand the concern about losing all your data. For us it’s all about, OK, how can we do this in a way that makes sense for the consumer, that makes sense for us, that’s what we’re working for.

what the hell...

*fixed it.

Theres no way this is for the consumer.

Also the Piracy concerns thingy is a BS answear too.

All he should say is "I think the sales indicate that the consumer base doesn't really care" and then drop the mic.

Sales only indicate that purchases like the features of the system. You think that means its perfect?

No, I think it means that it doesn't matter to most people.

"Certainly the virtual console aspect is going to be part of what we do in terms of making some legacy content available with the Nintendo Switch Online."

Hmmmmm.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

It'll come eventually, along with the other things they've not finished yet.

Thing is, I have a Switch. My daughter plays it quite a bit. I will probably get her one too but can she keep her progress?

So he's basically not saying anything until it gets into details, and then he jumps straight into defense mode. Why am I not surprised to see this stance from Nintendo...

It's strange that a system under development for so long doesn't have this feature.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Being able to "cloud save" requires more servers which Nintendo apparently doesn't want to spend money on their online infrastructure till they start collecting the 20 dollars a year from people that pay.  Honestly I'm tired of the use of cloud save term.  All it means is that it is stored on a server.

File saving to sd card so I can back it up to my PC Kthnkxbye. I don't trust cloud with my stuff all that much. Log into my account. While I'm restoring my system? I'd rather restore my save and patch files while I'm doing that. Before I get it connected to online again.

That they could hire from Amazon or even their best pals MS.
