Multiple users on Reddit have recently reported they saw an ad banner promoting TEW2 for preorder. 

"From Survival horror mastermind Shinji Mikami comes The Evil Within 2. Now available for preorder."

This is great, Evil Within was great game and I hope they will announce Evil Within 2 on this E3 after rumours.
This will easily be one best E3 announcement for me.

The first one was unplayable on consoles from what I have seen but it ran really good on pc and was enjoyable the main thing they really need to improve is the performance.

Great news this IP gets a second go and I will be looking out for the impressions, very high chance I will buy it on the pc along the road.

I still need to play the first one lol, I've owned it since launch, but haven't the courage to play xD

Hopefully 3rd person, the way we like it. It's a great opportunity to get the RE fans that felt neglected by RE7.

I played it on PS4 and while the framerate seemed to be not so good in some areas but it was definitely playable, I beat the whole game.

Also this is good news since since The Evil Within was a great game, i'll buy a sequel.

I know a lot of the pc community hates low FPS but in games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Prey, Forza Horizon or any naughty dog game where the fps is good / rock solid I don't mind at all.

But I originally started playing TEW on PS4 and repurchased the game because it was to noticable and ruind my experience but I have seen people run games on low-end computers with a terrible like 20-25 framerate and not care so its really a personal preferance when that bottleneck is hit on stabile framerates.

For me this game, with some other games on console, was one of those "oh hell no" experiences haha but like I said it was a great game but this was one of the areas where I could see a big improvement for console owners, which is the majority of the market either way.
