I'm loving it, not played Street Fighter for years so it seems quite fresh yet familiar at the same time for me.

Price drop for the Switch is not going to happen for a looong time.

I understand people wanting to play it, it's Street Fighter. I just balk at the price though. It sucks that the trade off of playing portable games on this console is very blatant gouging. But, people will spend their money how they want.

SF2 is still fundamentally a good game. I'm not really sure 1,2 Switch or Skylanders are though, those deserve criticism at points, the core gameplay for neither is very well done. SF2 is still a blast to play and very competetive to play amongst friends, the knock on it really is "yeah, but it's $10 too expensive" as if $10 buys you anything great these days. 

I agree, I don't understand people reviewing it as a new game either. About the other games... they fulfill their purposes, so I believe they are decent games and deserving of their sales. 

Ports of older fighting games have been going for 10-15 bucks on new consoles for quite a while.  If they're going to price it at $40 it's fair to have higher expectations.

I've never liked SF games, but I'm glad it's selling well. I think nostalgia might be a decisive factor with this one. Everyone has played this game at least once in their lifes lol.

I haven't. I picked up SF4 on the 3ds and played it for like maybe 10 minutes before quitting and never trying it again. This older version actually seems appealing to me with hd skins, but old school art style so I may try it.
