:-/ I don't live in Europe, though! I guess I haven't really looked hard for one, though.
I can confirm that there are a lot of NS in Russia. People just don't need them, it seems ((

It'd be nice if the UK did though, the only places that you can get a Switch at retail price let you pre-order one and then put you on a waiting list. Although at least Amazon UK is finally recieving more stock tomorrow, but then it'll go right back out of stock soon afterwards most likely.

What's stopping anyone in the uk from ordering from elsewhere in europe? Buy in bulk even and make a profit if stock is so low there. They even seemed to drop in price since the release date in some stores.

Now that they've stopped making the NES Mini...

Well some people, especially most casual audiences wouldn't either think of that, or find it too much of a bother to track down a product from a website from another country. Especially your typical parent buying something for their kids.
Although it's not like they might not be doing that, all I know is that their is that there is low stock of Switch's in UK retail and online stores (at least at retail price).
If your average joe walks into a store, or goes online to see the Switch out of stock, they're likely to end the search there, until it becomes more widely available.

Seems so. I'm just waiting for the inevitable flood of JRPGs.
I've only ever seen 2 Switch's, mine and one in a shop.
All Sony does it make consoles that sell, sell and sell. When PS4 is done. They'll have 4 of 5 best selling consoles
