It does kind of feel of the XBO reveal all over again.  Try and hype people up with 3rd party games.  Do 3rd party games sell the most on these console's? Sure.  But only having them isn't going to bring people in.  Never has.  Otherwise, when MS dropped to being cheaper than the PS4, it should have stomped it.

No, you have to have 2 of 3 things.  Appealing HW at a reasonable price compared to the competition (cheaper is great, but it has to at least be on par with them.)  Good 3rd party support. Or a big list of quality 1st party games.  PS4 has all three things.  So, does Pro, which is why it performs so well against a XBO priced at $249 on Amazon.  I think Scorpio is only going to have one of those, good 3rd party support.  Not a good sign for success.

Their level on what? FPS? 3rd person shooter? Racing? Sure I'm mad Stage.

Microsoft bought those games (one of them mid development). I said develop. You going to use Minecraft as an example too? Im sure you havent seen Uncharted and the Last of us though. I mean Days Gone is on its way as well.

Sony bought all three of those games as well when they bought those developers. I'm sure you have some loophole so that they are somehow different though. How dumb does that sound? Just be happy with the games these companies bring you, no need to be so negative and jaded about how Microsoft didn't build Developer A from the ground up so Game C doesn't count as a truly true real authentic genuine exclusive.

Literally every post you make about MS is how bad they are at making games. Just makes one wonder why you claim to be such a big fan. I own a PS4 and use it. But I'm not that big of a fan of Sonys games and thus I don't represent myself as such and post about that opinion in every Sony thread. I mean, this is for your own good. You don't seem happy about it, maybe just accept that MS is going about things differently and get over it, or sell your MS stuff and bask in the glory of Sonys hundreds of critical smash hit super truly true authentic genuine exclusives? Just a suggestion.

I think Microsoft is correct in the sense that they need to have the best multiplatform games. If they don't, what really is the point of Microsoft being in the business? For people who like Halo?

They need to offer a better hardware product than Sony does. Allowing PS4 to be more powerful than the XB1 was a mistake.

If they are going to be in the business, they can never allow Sony to have hardware superiority ever again IMO. XBox 2 needs to be better than PS5 as well.

Actually no...you should look up the history of their relationships with their devs. When Sony bought the developers they restructured the developers they already had an initiative in mind to create games that felt like movies or pixar films. Story driven games. They aligned themselves with studios who could work by their stands that they had built and brought them under their umbrella. All of the companies that sony bought make similar games in style and effect but with their own unique stories. All of the companies Sony bought over the past twenty years have become an extension of Sonys testament to cinematic and story driven quality. The old head of Naughty Dog who became the head of THQ after Sony bought them has commended Sony on how they have run the company even though they changed their direction to third person shooters.

Unlike Microsoft they did not buy Halo or Gears or buy developers just to get their hands on their IP's (the rich mans way out). In fact they did not have to part with their internal studios or friends because of creative differences (namely the fact that they have little creativity). Epic no longer wanted to work on Gears and Microsoft killed making a new IP just to create Gears. Think about this clearly. Luckily Phil Spencer is helming Microsoft and as an Xbox consumer who has invested greatly in the XBox this gen, I hope he can turn Microsofts ship around in terms of first party. Sea of thieves does nothing for me, but I agree with  most of the commenters when they say Microsoft needs one game changing IP or else because  Sony and Nintendo are dropping even more exclusives and they will be gone by a mile. Sony and Nintendo already have a game a piece as GOTY contenders and Microsoft has nothing to show yet. So far all I use my Xbox One for is getting free games. If Scoprio wows me, i'll probably get it to compliment my pending upgrade to the pro.

I criticize Microsoft because I want them to succeed. When I was in college I was criticized quite a bit, but thats because my teachers thought I could do better...and guess what it did. I know they want to be the multimedia epicenter of all multimedia devices, but just like the beginning of this gen....the console industry has a rich tradtition of top tier console developers who had great internal first party. Microosft has the cash to create developers from the ground up and where they killed Black Tusk to rely on an sure thing, they could still try. Im counting on Phil Spencer to turn this ship around. its good to have a gamer who knows what hes talking about most of the time at the head of Xbox. I've learned three things from Microsoft about where they develop best or could use work.

1) Create their own studio -They have a history of disagreements with outside developers or inside developers they purchased because of creative differences when they rely on them for IP's. Microsoft needs to be the sole creators and decision makers in the fates of their own IP's. We should be able to agree on at least this.

2) Microsoft needs to hire known directors that they can trust for quality

3) For the love of god find a vision for your brands games because it seems like they are just accepting any game from anyone. There is no identity.  It is well documented that Sony gained their vision from Pixar and Nintendo from Disney for the direction they wanted to take in their games creatively. When Microsoft figures this out...the tides will turn. Trust me.

Now i'll shut up. I dont criticize a company without thinking of ways in which they could be better. Talk to you again at E3.  Im keeping my fingers crosssed.

lol like I said, youll have some weak sauce excuse as to why the companies and games Sony buys are perfectly fine but when Microsoft does it then its shady and a sign of weakness. It's cool, we are used to it now. I stopped reading a few sentences in.

I can play multiplats + MS games on my pc (best version), and great exclusives on my ps4 and NS. So, once again, why do i need to buy scorpio ?

Umm maybe because there are people who rather play on console than PC or else multiplats wouldn't have sold more better on console than PC.

Dude games like FIFA and COD increase Xbox One hardware when released so having them DOES bring people in.

Also never use Amazon as a source the Pro isn't actually doing well against the X1 or else Uncharted 4 wouldn't be so high above the charts on this site since it is bundled with the regular PS4 and I see plenty of the U4 bundles at my local retailers and barely any of the Pro.

Actually YOU should look up history Epic was already developing Gears 4 before MS purchase, 48% of Epic was own by a Chinese company and they are likely focusing on PC and free-to-play from there on out so it was decided to sells Gears in order to prevent it from going in the wrong direction. Some of Epic's version of Gears 4 remain in the final game like Marcus having a son name JD, so it isn't a result of " the rich man out".
