I think that's uncalled for. You can't assume Miyamoto would just make Miis as characters for ARMS. Sure you could point out he recommended using Mario characters during Splatoon's development but that was a last resort when the devs team didn't know what kind of characters they wanted to use to emphasize the ink mechanic gameplay elements at the time. Remember he's a general producer who oversees these projects. I'm sure he's more than happy seeing these new characters come out of the woodworks and see these new IPs flourish.
