I find this funny. Each new color iteration of joycons that gets announced people get super excited and want them super bad.

I remember pre-launch how it seemed every other topic was releated to the joycons being super expensive and the reason why the system cost $100 more than people wanted. Yet now all I see is people clamoring to buy more joycons because of colors.

I feels like Amiibo all over again. People, as you did, will complain about price as they buy a dozen of them or while paying 3x the price for one from a scalper.

Granted, this isn't necessarily the best indicator of the sales and preorders in Japan. Nevertheless, just seeing such an IP, primarily an online multiplayer shooter nonetheless, is crazy. I've never seen an IP dominate rankings, especially in its relatively young life as an IP (Splatoon is only 2 years old).
