i don't like playing it in handheld mode, for me the shoulder buttons feel awkward in that mode.
I found myself accidentally hitting shoulder buttons I did not intend to while playing Zelda, likewise the analog stick buttons are too easy to press, many times while doing tests of strength link would crouch mid-fight because the analog stick depressed too easily.

other than that its okay i guess?, the whole dock and play thing isn't all that impressive to me as ive been doing it with pc games and my android tablet, (though, via streaming), for years, and the switches low battery life puts me off actually taking it anywhere there will not be a power source anyway.

Where are you going daily that you are focused on a device for 3+hours straight?  For me, the Switch has been perfect for lunch breaks, walking the dog, going for walks in the park, waiting for a movie to start at the theater, waiting for food to arrive to the table at a restaurant, etc.

You play a games console while walking your dog? c'mon man.

I drive, a lot, and usually end up sat in the car reading a newspaper or posting here, a car charger for the switch that provides the right amp rating would require the engine to be running so it doesn't drain the battery, and that in japan is both a waste of money and a sure-fire way to get someone knocking on the window of your car and pointing to the many, MANY "do not leave car on idle" signs dotted around the car parks here - part of a anti-polution drive.

Thus, if I have drive for a meeting, then a second meeting due later that day (quite often happens), i have a 5-7 hour duration in which I've not much else to do but kick back and kill time, so rather than taking the switch which has poor battery performance, i instead take my black GBA Micro which happily lasts the entire duration and happily fully charges on the drive there/back.

Also a GBA micro is a hell of a lot nicer to take on car trips, the switch is a pain in the ass, nowhere good to put it.

If my wife is with us, then yes I do play my Nintendo Switch while she holds his leash as we walk either in the park or around the neighborhood.  If it's just me and the dog, then no, I don't bring my Switch or 3DS with me.  Since the three of us walk together more often than not, yes I do play a games console while walking my dog.

Not touched my ps4 since getting switch day one with BOTW, definately needs more games though and soon, not got too long left on BotW (80 hours so far). I have gone back to COH on steam though for multilayer online aswell though. Overall impressed, just needs more games and quick.

I'm usually not one for grand pronouncements, but I really think this could go down as Nintendo's greatest system.

On the hardware front, it's incredibly snappy and versatile, playable on TV, on the go, and via LAN. Plus, local multiplayer is literally built into the system.

On the software front, it's already hosted two of the best games I've ever played, including the very best I've ever played. And with lot of indies, Japanese A and AA games, and Nintendo support (consolidated for the first time in a long time) on the way, the library should be extraordinary. It's basically a 3DS, WiiU, and Vita (minus Sony first-party) combined.

I have the highest of hopes for Switch.

I always felt it had the most promise of a Nintendo system since the Gamecube, and right now still feel it is on track.  Just need Mario and other games to help it come into its own.
