Rumored to be Assasin's Creed and Microsoft will use the game to show the power of Project Scorpio. This video is also rumored to be a leak of what it will look like on Project Scorpio.

"Microsoft -or any company for that matter -is gonna announce a big AAA game" shouldnt really be news. That should happen every year. I hope this is in some way related to GOW.

GOW? God of War or Gears of War?

It can't really be either one though. God for obvious reasons, and Gears because... well I'd expect them to have a whole lot more than just marketing for that

Who really cares though? If they want to pay for the marketing of a game that was going to release on their console anyway, and is probably a sequel to a game that has already released on PS4/One so the fanbase for it likely already has one console or the other... well that's just them wasting money.

Now when they have a major AAA unannounced exclusive... I'll be interested!

Yeah, I can't get excited over this. Microsoft threw some money at a publisher so it can secure exclusive marketing rights? Who cares?

This is exactly the kind of stuff Xbox management says it wants to move away from and yet it keeps doing it. Buying timed exclusivity and marketing rights is just a band-aid for a serious problem. It's time for Microsoft to address the cause and not the symptom.

I don't mean to get so hot over a rumor, but I desperately need some signal from Xbox that they want me as a customer.

Well, they could always just tease a new game and then spend and entire year marketing it. :B

They have often advertised Assassin’s Creed in the past and considering Sony has all the bigger block Busters locked up it has to be this.

It will only be interesting to me if they go with an exclusivity period, which they said they wanted to get away from, or if they issue some misleading statements, as with Tomb Raider. Otherwise, I don't care anything about marketing rights. I understand why they do them but I'm not someone who is going to be influenced that kind of thing.
