It's happened a few times now where I'll be browsing the site and get redirected to VGChartz.net instead.

Only happens very occasionally. I assume it happens when the site gets busy or something and not an issue with Chrome?

The webpage has "Coming Soon" on it now which I don't remember being there the last time it happened.

Maybe Chrome is trying to be smart and tries to redirect you to the .net address when the .com address doesn't respond? This site is occassionally unreachable. I don't think Chrome should do that but I'm not sure, and that kind of makes sense.
