Same. Browsers may one up each other in speed, overhead, or streamlining, but when it comes to agency and versatility I've found no reason not to stick with Firefox.

Except that it is a resource hog and Chrome is the best for anyone who uses a lot of Google services.

Edit - also anyone with kids. FF and other browsers are definitely not as secure. They can make your life hell with malware in other browsers where Chrome is all extension based which is very easy to debug / remove.

Resource hog? Security and privacy? Compared to Chrome?...

For kids at home, Chrome is more secure, this is a priority for me

I've never really had any trouble with Chrome myself. I've become so used to it that it's hard using the other browsers. Usually though, if I have a problem with an extension, I just uninstall and re-install it. Or I re-install Chrome in general.

Some people apparently can't even use browsers. It's lightweight fast and safe. If you can't use it then just use one of the million other browsers.

However it's slowly becoming a problem for me as a work tool since it has become extremely patronizing with its safety features and basically no way to tell it to fuck off. That's really sad because that's the exact reason why I ditched Firefox.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

You're being punished for not using Bing.

I have had issues with Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. One day I found Safari and it is the best! Why not give Safari a shot?

Which version of windows do you have?
It's important to know!

You should try other browsers to see if it's not just chrome exclusive.

Well, it works for me, no kids and a rig with lots and lots of resources...
