So, I'm 0/2 in your book I guess!

I'm mostly joking. I suppose "Am I the only one who xxx" threads are targetting a very specific group in the first place...so at least it's understandable here.

I think it's more understandable talking about it in this one than the alcohol one. This one's meant more to encourage discussion between opposing political views, while the alcohol one is one that could easily be avoided, and that gets a bit derailed from the water posts. I wasn't originally planning on posting in the alcohol one, but Basil meantioned drinking only water, so I decided that if someone else posted about it I might as well too (I guess I shouldn't have given in!) Did you vote in the elections Super Boom? (Boom? Super? I'm not sure which is your nickname!)

Boom is fine :P

I voted, though I'm not willing to defend my candidate of choice, or admit whether they won or not. I don't mind expressing my views on individual issues, considering I share views across the fence, but I feel that admitting to voting for a certain candidate creates a perception that misses the big picture to an extent.

So far, this thread reminds me of that Favorite Alcohol thread...with all the posts about preferring water.

I'm a rebel and love to post my disdain for both alcohol and water :P.

Ahh, OK. I'm obviously much more overt with my beliefs, but it's fine if you don't want to share who you voted for!

I am not an american.

But nobody in the USA should be sad they voted either because there wasn't much of a choice between 2 horrible candidates, now whas there? I think Trump is doing a bad bad job but I think Hillary would have been just as bad, maybe even worse.

Anyway just a few more years and hopefully we will have someone better, I think the people that should regret their vote are the people who didn't support a better candidate during the beginning of the election, berny sanders seemed like a good choice.

Anyway, sad times to see the 2 choices for a president be this bad and wel Trump won against the only person he could really beat lol.

I realize our economy is not doing too bad at all, but I do not attribute that to Trump. More so Obama.

As for the link above, are we really that bad off in America that we need more land?

I hope he realizes that just like Obamas efforts can be reversed, his can as well. He will just go down as being the worst president of all time. Before he would have been forgotten in history, just another tabloid billionairre not even on par with some of the great rich people of the late 1800's/early 1900's. Now he will be forever remembered as a pile of shit.

Only 100 days........so many more days left of bullshit.

Are those your views?

If they are it means you don't understand politics, like liberals and dems.

They believe what they are told to be it through friends or are deceived by liberal news over time.

Everything Trump has "failed" on - everything is because of dems following a strategy of obstruction becauee they have nothing to give positively, and the rest is the spineless republican establishment who are afraid of conflict.

I've lost interest in it all, not blaming Trump for that.

I'm a true conservative / libertarian, and as a result my core view isn't tainted by a few moronif liberals.

Well I didn't vote for him, but the fact that he has achieved almost nothing and done the complete opposite of other things he promised, has me realising that the deep state always wins.

I sure as Hell didn't vote for him. I really don't know how people didn't see thus coming. Sure, people who have been inside politics for a long time can be really bad. They owe people favors. But they also have an idea how the job works. People wanted to test out what an "outsider" would do. Now we know. I'm sure we can find someone who isn't completely corrupt but still somewhat of an "outsider". If anyone regrets voting for him, please do me a solid and stay home November 3rd 2020.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

I was a trump supporter. He gave his word twice to hire a special prosecutor to prosecute Hilary Clinton. Then he thanks her for her service right after being elected! I knew right then that something was wrong. He failed to replace Obama care. Now,  don't trust him. Even his Muslim ban, which I am in favor of, seems to being failing. I tried to vote too late, but now I'm glad I didn't vote. Hilary may have been worse with her baby killing attitude, feminist agenda, support for gay rights (I am Christian), etc. However, Trump is not living up to all his words and I'm disappointed. I think I'm just going to abandon politics. They all seem to just be a bunch of liars. I will just trust in God.

So the constant lies during his campaign weren't a hint that he might be lying about things?
