I use the term as loosely as I'm able. My channel is called Retro Tech Select and I dearly love my Wii U. To be fair, people have been calling it last-gen since it released. By that logic, it's now squarely in the PS360 era (which I definitely consider retro at this point).

The Wii U is as retro as the 3DS.

I wouldn't consider the Wii U retro.. I wouldn't really say N64/PS2/Xbox is retro either :/

The Wii U is retro? Well that's a first. The Switch is just over a month old, and the Wii U is retro now? Hey everyone, remember that really old retro movie called The Avengers featuring Robert Downey Jr? That was a good one, just like all the other retro movies like John Wick. So two of these games are literally still the best sellers this year! Not "retro", still very current.
