Great video! (I'm a christian btw) I've recently been writing a lot of songs and I wrote one about suicide and the domino affect it can have. I'm sure most people have had suicidal thoughts at some point in their life.
And being cheated on sucks, never had it happened to me before but can't imagine how much it'd hurt if you were very emotionally invested in the person, I'll keep you in my prayers man. :D

There are scientific studies that correlate the positive effects of Religion, such as faith in Christ, which in fact "reduce risk of depression", "helps recovery",  and "reduces the risk of suicide". You should also look at the actual data which indicates that placebos are  as effective as the "medications" which are proscribed by these professionals you speak of.

when i'm doubting life and my existence, i think about what it would do to my mother, wife aunt and sisters if i gave up. That brings me back to reasoning. You have to keep trying to make it and pull through.

Only weak willed People will consider suicide.

I have a huge backlog I can't just leave behind. I don't want to burden my love ones to finish it.

Well, I would hope never to be put into a situation where I would actually consider it. Even through the worst of times my faith and family have kept me strong.

Not may people have a strong system of support or faith ( as I do in Christ) to be able to bare the burdens of this world. Some people who have been brutally, sexually abused or beaten, have chronic mental illness such as depersonalization/derealization, schyzophrenia,etc  are not weak willed people. Sometimes the situation becomes so overwhelming and they choose the wrong route.

Unless you've been in someone shoes who was on the verge or has taken their life, try not being an asshole. It'll do you some good.
