You shouldn't* hate a country of people just because their government did something you didn't like.

Fixed that for you

Stating any opinion that doesn't line with everyone else makes people go against you, for whatever dumb reason. Everything you say will make you friends or enemies. Overall I think it's annoying that I have to change my lifestyle and how I act for Transgender people and homosexuals, but I believe what Russia is doing is sick (if true).

People have been telling me lately about things I've said about Russians, pretty much all of which were rather hostile. One person here even said I should be ashamed of hating on someone because of the actions of their government, and/or of a few people.

My feelings, as you know, are a response towards Russia's treatment of the LGBT community, their supporting of Syria and North Korea, and their blockading of the MH17 investigation.

So am I being irrational with what I've been saying? Because it doesn't feel like it to me. -_-

There's nothing at all wrong with Russians. Like most peoples/countries, it is the shitty governments the people allow to be in charge of things, that are awful. Not (most of) the people themselves.

I read the title and the author and came to post an instant "yes". Then I read the OP and now it's a double "yes".

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I like huskies, they are cool, and the russian girls, wow...

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.
