President Donald Trump is backtracking from his support of Steve Bannon

White House advisers Jared Kushner and Steve Bannon have reportedly been at odds with each other in a feud that underscores some stark differences in their world views. And now it appears that President Donald Trump is taking sides.

Guess who’s coming out ahead in this feud.

In an interview Tuesday with New York Post’s Michael Goodwin, the president appeared to be distancing himself from Bannon, the man who played a key role in drumming up support for Trump in the final months of his presidential campaign.

“I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late,” Trump told Goodwin. “I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn’t know Steve. I’m my own strategist, and it wasn’t like I was going to change strategies because I was facing crooked Hillary.”

“Steve is a good guy, but I told them to straighten it out or I will,” the president said. Last week, Bannon was kicked off his role in the National Security Council

This is hilarious, Steve Bannon has been cucked by Trump's Jewish son-in-law

I remember when Bannon told the media to "Shut up", is he gonna tell Breitbart editors to dial down the criticism of Kushner now?

Media must love Trump. I'm sure a lot of journalists hate him personally, but for media as a business, Trump is great.

c*cked? Is that supposed to be cocked? Is he saying his son in law had sex with a guy? Wow... sucks to be Trumps daughter right now I guess.

Hmm, I was under the impression that cheating isn't enough, he must also know of the situation and still tolerate it. Some people even enjoy that stuff.

Well, according to the etymology it comes from the idea of a betrayed husband. I think that in recent times it has been mainly referred to by its fetish, which would obviously have to require knowledge and toleration.

Sounds like it's a mild word, shouldn't have censored it

I'd say the bigger question is, did Trump actually say that. Usually, when you do name: statement, it's referring to a quote.

Interesting! That link also explains why it does indeed sound like a bird thing to me.
