Actually, an invasion is more dangerous to them, because it would open the floodgates on population transfer, which is something that the neighbouring couintrjes are not too keen on happening. China doesn't want millions of refugees flowing into their country, so that's one main reason they don't invade. North Korea knows that. And you just said that threatening is more profiting than actually doing something, which is my whole point: they're not going to nuke them because they risk too much doing so.
