Forums - Website Topics - Why is the new Zelda, Breath of the Wild, called The Legend of Zelda (2016) here?

I think Machina mentioned trying to update that stuff himself, but the only thing he can change is the game cover.

Just VGC being VGC I guess.

It has a name of its own, and it released in 2017.
Is it a database issue our just forgot to update the title after the actual name reveal up until now?

Not the only or oldest issue when it comes to the games database.  Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE on Wii U is still listed as "Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem" for example.

I posted the real answer. We haven't been able to add or edit games since like 2013 or something. All we have for certain games are tentative titles and expected release dates. Zelda is one of those games.

We can't, on our profiles, but they can. If they couldn't add titles we would have no charts since 2013.

Probably can't edit the name once added.

Yeah. We users used to be the ones editing the games database on this site. For whatever that ability all got exported to Gamewise.

I wonder if that is a separate entity to our"Chartz" since, as you said, those do get updated...

Damn it, I thought there was a Zelda game from last year that I had missed and was suddenly spiking up the charts for some reason.
