I've put a few hours into this game today...

- No framerate problems yet (PS4 pro), with the only 'issue' I've had is wondering if the game froze up during the initial load.
- Remember sliding around in these old games? It's definitely a thing here as well. At least you get a limited special move to roll up the slidey surfaces early.
- The camera is about on par with the old N64 games - you basically have to get used to the idea that the camera is very often not going to be right behind you.
- I recommend reducing the sound effects volume a hair, as the 'blur-blur-blur' voices are a bit loud.

My first impression is positive so far, Iimagine backers and fans of N64 collectathons will be happy with it.

Debating whether to wait for the Switch version, or to get it on PS4. Seems a bit overpriced, but there hasn't been much else to satisfy my platforming itch.

I'm getting it on Switch. I have too much to play right now as it is (missed a whole month of games because of how much time I put into Zelda) and it just feels wrong to play YL on anything other than a Nintendo platform given the game's ancestry.

Backed it and got my Steam key activated but gotta wait another 21 hours to play and it doesn't seem like there is any pre-install, Looking forward to it and since it got bashed a little by critics that probably means it's an amazing game.

Pre-ordered and pre-downloaded, just waiting to get home, and have a blast. A little disappointed that their is no PS4 Pro support though. I really expected this to be a native 4K game, and affter seeing DF video, it should be able to handle 4K/30 without a problem.

Backed it for £15 and got my code today for the PS4 version. Already played it a bit on my Pro. It's simple and straightforward and the writing is full of humour. Liking it so far as it's exactly what I expected it to be. Camera movement makes me a bit nauseous though, something only a handful of games make me feel.

Would love a patch for a PS4 Pro mode at 60fps.

That's good to hear. I was getting a little concerned from reviews. I'll be waiting for the Switch version, hopefully with a physical release too.

Never played Banjo Kazooie games before so this one didn't catch my eye..

Still will consider it, but will have to wait and see
