It largely depends on how much stock they put in Japan. They said production was being ramped up and they plan to supply 16 million consoles by March 2018. I think Japan will get and sell at least 3.5 million of those by Jan 2018.

I think it can make around 4 and 5 millions.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

3.141592M = 3.141592 x 1million = 3,141,592 units. and yes its Pi.... I thought I was being funny correcting him on the last digit as well :P 2 units more or less really dont matter all that much, for these corporations. |
I got the joke... I'm just saying you would never represent 3.141592M as such, because you've included the whole number, the contraction and use of decimel have become redundant.
I mean... it was a bad joke to being with, but now 3 messages into explaining why the whole number doesn't work just makes it a real rib rattler I find :D
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive
I'd say 3.60M
The hype is strong and the announced games will keep the sales high, too.
I'm confident about the Switch's prospects in Japan so I'll say between 2.5-3.5 million in 2017. Easily ahead of the PS4's 1.6-2.2 million.
