Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Best Buy will have Switch + NES classic tommorow

It is odd how some places are having trouble getting the Switch. Pretty much every WalMart anywhere near me has them in stock and has since Day 1. Hope people interested can grab one. I myself will get one when it gets 2 or 3 must play exclusvies.

I have yet to see either sitting on a shelf at a store.  Some places claim they have them available, but they sell out so quickly stock information doesn't update to show it.

Switch is going, going...gone! Even the 429 bundle is gone! What the hell?

....Already? Most, if not all the stores? I was just gonna ask how the sales going with the new stock...

I'm referring to online availability which was the object of Best Buy's announcement. One of the engineers on my team was able to secure one after a lot of refreshing and retrying on the checkout screen.

Wow these sales are incredible. If only this popularity will actually get some 3rd parties to create games for this thing. But I imagine that won't happen unless it maintains this momentum for a couple years which, of course, will be difficult without good 3rd party support (ooooh catch 22).

Sorry couldn't resist!

Wanted Neon, they never became available. The NES and Grey Switch were available for about 25-30 mins before they were sold out. This is a hotter commodity than a lot of people are willing to admit.

I call bullshit on you.

My small suburb (~40k people) which is 20 miles from a large city (yes I drive 64 miles a day to/from work) sold out at midnight and hasn't kept it in stock.

I'd love to see the data you are using to justify your statment.

I don't find it hard to believe, I've seen tens of switches and NES classics on store shelves, although I do live in Europe, so I guess demand is weaker here.

Can't find Switches anywhere in the UK either.

Mainland Europe (specifically Slovenia and Austria) is what I'm talking about. Seen the Switch on shelves at 3 retailers in Slovenia, and one of them has more than 150 in stock.

Wait until after April 1 guys. Nintendo has shipped everything they were going to ship for March, they don't want to ship more than a set number.

They will want whatever Switches past a certain point to be shipped after April 1 so it can count towards next fiscal year's total.

150 in one store?!? Jesus Christ Nintendo needs to stop shipping to Europe asap and send some to Canada. The thing is nowhere to be found here.
