I dont think hes a racist...

Then your bar for what is considered to be a racist is very high. So high in fact that it's almost a meaningless term.

Not really. I watched the whole thing. He was just misinformed about some stuff and got blindsided with alot of subjects he wasnt prepared for. Hes not good at arguing his points.

All racists are misinformed, that's why they're racist.

Thats why I said "some stuff". We cant know everything about everything. He was way over his head and tried to not come off as an idiot. Which just made it worse. Its hard to admit that you dont know what youre talking about. I understood most of what he was trying to say, but he just couldnt get the words out. Thats frustrating and the more you try, the worse you sound. I think many of us knows what thats like. Maybe not this subject, but it happens to the best of us.

I don't think it was racist as well, more like ignorance to the matters he tried to adress, and being pretty bad at making a point.
It sounded more like he wanted to make a point about something he didn't understand well than making attacks to create a problem.
It was stupidity, not racism, in my opinion.

The point that he was trying to make is that we should be worried about Mexicans trying to take over areas of the country and blacks, even the richest of them, being more criminal in behaviour than even desperate whites is specifically targeting races and trying to make us scared of them.

Many of us when we're unsure of a topic just come out and admit it or indicate how much we know of something so tbh that's not a good defence of his meltdown. To simply say he's been targeted because he was trying to defend whites and so on is almost as ignorant as the non sense he spewed, he's been targeted because objectively what he said was racist and ignorant and that's what it comes down to.

JonTron did TWO things you cant do these days. Defend some aspects of white people and not defending everything about non white people. Do one of the two. Not both. That's just death sentence.

I disagree: I recall the widespread backlash MTV got for its 'dear white people' videos not long ago. People like TheAmazingAtheist and Philip Defranco criticized it.

So I was going to watch the video but it's two God damn hours long. So I read the cliff notes, and unsurprisingly there's nothing in there that's racist (xenophobic and conservative, yeah, but no blatant racism).

Anyone care to point to some specific quotes where he's saying outright racist shit so I can see what the SJWs are crying about?

To me it sounded like the point he wanted to make was that white people also have the right to defend themselves.

When he went on with the points to support it, he started to say all kinds of stupid things to try to support it, some worse than the others, some of them that felt like he was trying to say that non white people were more problematic based on fallacy (which is borderline racist), but ultimately it didn't sound like he wanted to attack anyone, just defende something in a very stupid way, so I don't think he is racist based on that, even as there was somewhat of a "white arrogance" going that way.

I didn't watch the video, I read the points in the link people gave to me, tho.

And what do whites need to protect themselves from? Blacks and Mexicans? So, promoting interracial conflict is not racism?

I really would have enjoyed hearing him in the game :(
