Yes, only if Nintendo executes the right decisions at the right time and creates good games
A couple of weeks of great sales proves nothing.
Remember when people said Wii would not even outsell Gamecube. That it would never outsell PS3 (in context to Sony being a Juggernaut with PS1-PS2 domination).
I also remember when people said DS would be the next Virtual Boy.
Do I think it will outsell Wii? No. But you never count out Nintendo. They often surprise.

I think it is possible, but very unlikely.
