A question for the VG music fans out there!
What is the best video game music concert you've either listened to or been to see in person?
I've been fortunate enough to attend one of the very first Distant Worlds Final Fantasy concerts when it came to the San Francisco Symphony back in 2009, which was incredible. I got within an arms reach of Nobuo Uematsu when he passed through the aisle. I've also seen Video Games Live, which was a lot of fun, but perhaps a bit too... showy, and didn't quite have the same reverence for the music that Distant Worlds had.
But for my money, the very best concert I've ever heard has to be Score, a televised celebration of games music performed by the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
This concert has some very cool deep cuts, and manages to give well-known games incredibly unique renditions (those Zelda and Mega Man medleys!!). also the host is by far the nord-est viking man I've ever seen
