Forums - Gaming Discussion - Which platform are you getting Nier: Automata on?

Which Platform?

PS4 Pro 52 26.80%

PS4 90 46.39%

PC 52 26.80%

I will buy it eventually on PS4, but not right away. There are too many great games releasing now for me to buy this, but someday I'll get it for sure.

The PC download isnt as cheap over console like you claim to be, I preordered the physical PS4 UK bersion for 55€ from Ebay, they also sold it for 50€ a view times.

You mean he shouldn't claim that the PC release version is WAY cheaper than the PS version, even though you just proved with your post that he payed 15 € less than you for the game? If so, that's some weird logic.

Its fine I totally respect people don't all have the pc's to run games or don't like the platform because the ps4 eco system is a lot more user friendly sometimes, but argueing price of a game from ps4 over pc has always been pointless, if he prefers a disc version and doesn't want to download it obviously the ps4 version is much prefered.

I actually don't mind downloads on PC but I would never download a game on my ps4 :) but when you play games like Nier its all about FPS and my pc will do a much better job then a ps4 or ps4 pro because you can adjust the settings of the game manually. Add the cheaper price, mods and its a real no brainer.

I am also saving for a new graphics card so all PC games I buy will be experiencing a "mid cycle upgrade" soon ;P!!

The official price is 65€ so 55€ is a lot less. So i dont understand what was weird of my logic?

And i compared different standards of course, 40€ for a digital game thats a lot of money in my eyes.

You saved 10€, he saved 25€ on the same game. You' ll be able to play the game as long as you have a PS4, he'll be able to play the game in 10, 15, or 20 years.

I doubt it,

Also emulators will exist by then. Funny how you have such doublestandards, who says if his computer will be working or if the game is even still compatible on latest windows? And what makes you think PS4s will cease to exist?

PS4, Limited Edition is a no - brainer for me :D

If i'm getting it for PC and likely use a controller to play, i'll just get the ps4 version. i only use the mice and keyboard when i play on pc exempting emulators.

I will get it on PC, like all multiplats.  Soon, I'll have a GTX 1080 Ti.  No reason to get multiplats on console, except under certain conditions, like Tekken 7, in which most seasoned tekken players are on PS4.

I'm also trying to not use controllers anymore, so I haven't installed any drivers to allow my PS4 controller to work on PC.
