Clearly it was never a game for you then. What you just discribed is the fun of it, and I'm not entirely sure why you needed a snow planet to grow a certain plant, you can grow any plant on any planet.

I need to find Coryzagen, which only grows on frozen planets. And I don't see how spending 3 days trying to find 1 thing is fun in any way.

It's obvious not the sort of game you'd like then. The exploration and having to find specific plants on specific planets is what myself and others like about the game. If it was easy, there would be no point.

Soon we’ll be releasing a patch to the experimental branch. Here are the patch notes:

Exocraft Geobays can now be crafted on any planet - this means vehicles can be summoned anywhere (whereas previously, vehicles could only be summoned on your home planet).
HUD markers have been added to allow you to easily navigate back to an Exocraft Geobay
Fixed a bug that caused vehicle weapons and mining lasers not to drain charge
Fixed a rare issue which could cause the Starship cockpit to vanish when exiting
Fixed some freighter door texture issues
Fixed a rare crash when scanning from a vehicle
Fixed a rare crash when feeding creatures
Fixed an issue which caused weapons to miss-fire when using Plasma Launcher
During warp the quick menu now hides properly as intended

Greetings explorers,

Today we’re releasing Patch 1.24, which addresses some remaining issues and bugs players have reported since the launch of the Path Finder Update. This update is live now on both PC and PS4, and the patch notes are as follows:

-Fixed an issue that caused player’s bases not to appear

-Optimised light shafts, allowing us to enable them on PS4

-Fixed a game freeze/lock up that could occur when in space

-Improved frame rate when playing with unlocked frame rate, or vsync disabled

-Fixed some issues with Steam controller prompts

-Various minor performance optimisations

-Fixed some rare crashes & freezes

I took advantage of the patch to start my space journey, and so far the game fulfills all the expectations I had. I try to make a logbook of my adventures but it is difficult to find some time to put my writings and my pictures.

My main advice for new adventurers would be : don't get lost in the caves !!! (Curiosity trapped me ! XD)
