well vgchartz says wii sports sold 450k first week on US. so, zelda is best launch title, so zelda alone surpased that.
Suposing every zelda buyer bought also a switch, and a few bought switch and didnt bought zelda(due shortages on zelda stock, or interested on other games), we can expect 500k+ switches sold US only.

Not that impressive. Ps4 1million sold day 1. We all knew Switch was going to sell well right off the gun.

There was only 2 million WW to go around though. How the hell do you expect something to sell more units than are available?

Americas sales might be higher than that, if the statement is true.I would bet on something closer to 700 k.

But yeah, assuming this tweet is true, the Switch selling as good as the PS4 with a limited supply on March is trully impressive.With the release of Mario Kart 8 and the Global Testfire to send the japanese Switch hype to space, the system there might just have a very bright future.

If numbers are already leaking, we should get some official information soon, or some sort of acknoledgement from nintendo part.

Oops, meant to say we only know Wii numbers from the US, putting the Switch at least above 400k in the americas. Realistically, it's at least 500k. Could be higher, but I know South America isn't a big market for Nintendo outside of the Wii and DS.



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Wow, and it did better than the Wii? I wouldn't have expected that, unless the Wii had a much more limited launch stock...

Yep. Just like the UK Horizon vs Zelda crap in the other thread, this is an irrelevant comparison. PS4 sold great, Switch is selling great.
