I think it will get a Q4 2017 release window which will be faithfully delayed to Q1 2018. It's kind of a traditional thing by Sony to delay PS4 titles over the holiday season and have a front loaded Q1.

Does that mean it might release at end of 2017? say before the holidays or so?

tbh I wasnt expecting this game before 2018.

I mean closer than 2 years doesn't say much, there are 6 months in 2018 for which Insomniac would stay true to what they tweeted and we are 7 months away from that tweet which means many thing could have changed (both positively and negatively ofc)

Since the new Spiderman movie is coming out July this year, it would be the best to have those two releases as close as possible.

That would be a pleasant surprise but I still think it's going to release on 2018.

So, it has been confirmed to be a 2017 title. Can't wait!

Hope we can change the costume and not through BS DLC. Game sounds like it could be cool. I just hate their version of the suit.

Insomniac doesn't do DLC, if there is something thats not originally in the game, its pre-order content....

I think e3 will bring the answer, e3 could be the show where sony could announce several release dates of already announced first party games
