Are there still supply constraints in Japan? Cause if so, that makes this even more surprising.

This marks the first week that the Switch has outsold both Wii U and 3DS combined.

How will we enjoy those sorts of numbers before the 3DS gets it's price cut?

Interesting. I don't think the Switch needs to outperform 3DS and WiiU combined to be a success, but it might just be capable of it. Especially if the rumors are true that Japanese devs see it as the successor to the Vita.

74k on Famitsu... looks like the Switch will overtake Wii U in total sales during week 9 and come much closer to the 3DS totals too

Seems likely, golden week upcoming.. if Nintendo would be saving up some stock, it would be for this.

Guessing most shipments goes abroad.
