Just curious, how would you rate them? I'm playing DW8XLCE and I find it pretty good. Tons of content to keep me entertained for hours.

Mostly in the 80s, with Empires & XL titles rated lower (they're essentially just DLCs sold as full games). The main issue I have with those scores though is DW6 having a better score than 7. I still think 6 deserves better than a 59 as it isn't that bad, mid 70s would perhaps be fair. 7 however was better than 6 in pretty much everyway, definitely deserves more than it rather than less. 5 too should definitely be higher than 6. There's a reason 6 got a lot of hate and it's because it was a big decline in quality for the series so it shouldn't have scored as high as the previous entry

As for DW8XLCE, I think that deserves the highest rating. Perhaps as high as an 88 or something. It's essentially an enhanced re-release of the (imo) biggest and best DW so far with a load of additional content added on top. There's not many games I've triple dipped for, but that's one of them

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702

Yeah, the ammount of content is impressive. I've played a gazillion maps and I'm not even close to finish the campaigns. There are also tons of characters and weapons. And the movesets for each weapon/character are also pretty impressive. Not sure why DW games tends to score low. I think it could be because of the pre-conception of being just button-smashers, when there's some strategy and planning, specially on highest difficulties. Never tried an Empires game before though. Is it similar to DW8 ambition mode?

Not really, it's pretty different actually. You pick a force (or create your own, with create a warrior included too) and try to conquer the rest of China. Every month you can do various things to strengthen your force, recruit officers, prepare things for battle etc and then you can invade others (or fight defensive battles if they invade you). It has pretty good replayability in that the officers you're using and fighting and which forces become strong rivals or allies varies each game. But I just don't think the battles are as fun as in regular DW, partially because they are more generic to fit in more options, and they can get pretty repetitive especially when you keep getting invaded.

Zelda games usually tend to get very good reviews lul.

Agreed in most cases.

For me the series is Mass Effect, which has always scored exceptionally high.

On X360 (the platform I first played them on), they're as follows:

ME1: 91
ME2: 96
ME3: 93

That probably comes close to how I feel, though I'd honestly score ME3 closer to low 80s or high 70s. I have lots of lingering complaints with the structure and direction of 3, regardless of the ending.

My favorite series are Mass Effect and Metal Gear Solid. So let's see. Metascore on the left, how I'd grade it on the right.

Mass Effect: 91 | 91
Mass Effect 2: 96 | 98
Mass Effect 3: 93 | 94

Metal Gear Solid: 94 | 92
Metal Gear Solid 2: 96 | 90
Metal Gear Solid 3: 91 | 95
Metal Gear Solid 4: 94 | 92
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker: 89 | 93
Metal Gear Solid V: 93 | 93

So yeah, they seem to line up pretty well. The biggest shifts are MGS2 and Peace Walker, and even then the biggest gap is six points.

Pokémon is probably my favorite series (maybe Zelda too, but it's hard to compare whole franchises).

Yellow: N/A - 74
Emerald: 76 - 96
Platinum: 83 - 84
Soulsilver: 87 - 92
White: 87 - 82
Black 2: 80 - 85
X: 87 - 91
Moon: 87 - 87

(First score is the metacritic, second is personal)

So, my score is not the same as the Metascore, but the differences aren't too big (except for Emerald, but that's probably due to nostalgia - it was my first real game).

Pokemon is my favourite series too.

It's interesting how no one game in the series is the clear best one(gold/silver has a good case though)Each person has a different game they regard as the best. People opinions vary for this series more than any other.

My ranking:

(First Metascore, then my score)

Emerald: 76 -->88

Platinum:83 -->93

Soulsilver:87 -->90

White:87 -->87

White 2: 80-->89

X: 87-->80

Moon: 87-->92

I may or may not be biased towards Platinum since it was my first game.

Before even reading the last sentence I was gonna ask if Platinum was your first Pokemon game. This is pretty much the case with everyone, their first Pokemon game will be their favourite. For me it is Pokemon Red/Blue. I feel it has something to do with falling in love with the concept at first before realizing how many flaws the entire franchise has that never get fixed, and probably never will due to the way the games are set up. I feel like the whole concept is stale and flawed, and rebooting Pokemon franchise completely with a modern take on it, without all the random encounters and the bs of the past, that the game could ever feel fresh again.
