No. I have a PS4 Pro and the remastered edition.

No. I am not interested in Skyrim.

Its a 5 year olf game and its not the best version of the game the switch will be bought my nintendo fans and many of them also own a ps4 and some an xbox one or maybe a pc, they all have the better version... and you don't need to pay for a pro controller to play it normally

The game will bomb for sure, like mass effect 3 did on Wii-U which actually was much more on-par with the ps3 and xbox360 version then skyrim will be with the 4k edition on ps4 pro and the remaster on og ps4 and xbox one,

Also MODS are the main selling point, nobody on this forum (no offense) thinks Skyrim will support MODS on the switch right, 32 gb storage.....

Looking forward to replaying Skyrim again. I passed on the HD remaster on PS4, as the prospect of portability trumps graphical enhancements to me. It still seems it'll be a facelift on the 360 version I fell in love with back in the day.

I mean the storage would hardly be an issue if they just want to match the PS4's stance on mods.  One gig allocated would do fine without any original files being allowed.  Shoot you could go less than that, it's not like very many large-file-size mods are going to be coming in with all original files blocked.  Sure that completely kneecaps modding but plenty of Sony fans still think Sony made "the right call" and defend them so no reason Nintendo couldn't get away with that. And no, mods were not the "main" selling point or Special Edition on Xbone would have annihilated Special Edition on PS4.  It did not.

I suppose what you have to ask yourself is how much people care about the improved graphical fidelity vs the convenient portability.  I mean, so far sales of Skyrim Special Eidition on the PS4 and Xbone are looking to be around 4 million.  Skyrim originally sold over 20 million, something like 16 million of that on consoles.  So there would certainly seem to be a good chunk of fans of the original - who let's face it, are the target of this remake - who were none too impressed by the graphical enhancements.

As for the version, no it won't have the best version but it will have some variant of the Special Edition it would seem from all indications.  Which makes sense cause the Special Edition's engine is much more stable and efficient.  So I think it will hold up fine enough since, let's be honest here, Skyrim Special Edition isn't turning any heads on any platform.  It looks better, for sure, but it's not even in the same league as the best looking PS4 and Xbox One games.

And as for sales...eh, I could see it do a million without much issue.  Skyrim is just one of those games, it sells pretty much anywhere it goes.  The PS3 version was a laughing stock and it still sold over SIX MILLION copies.  The Elder Scrolls has a far broader apeal and a much more powerful pull than Mass Effect has ever thought to hope to have.  I'm not saying it will do gang busters or sell many millions but crossing 1 million sold?  Yeah, I could absolutely see that just by virtue of it being Skyrim.  In a portable form.

Skyrim is one of my all time favorite game. I spent over 500 hours on my pc with mods. Will definitely get it on day 1 and play through the vanilla version of it

sry for my bad english - it is not my 1st language

if it has motion controls and HD rumble then definitely yes, probably not if there's nothing extra other than the Switch portability

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Mods Mase the game playable

Depends on the price, but I am interested in it
