Forums - PC Discussion - AMD Ryzen Full Lineup Prices, Specs & Clock Speeds Leaked

Also does anyone know if the threading is better with Intel on the their cores, I could be wrong but this looks like Intel has better threading then this Ryzen line of CPU's.

We dont know yet. According to amds own testing, their top of the line Ryzen cpu which costs $499 according to the leak is slightly slower than intels 6900k which costs $1200.

The issue is... Its amds benchmarks... Granted we can test them for ourselves tho since amd has provided us the files

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

We actually have some 3rd party benchmarks now:

Well shit, I guess I m a bit behind :P

Apparently that's the 2nd highest Ryzen chip there, the 1700x.

Mhmm. God I hope that leak is legit! Gonna get the highest one in that list if it costs $499

Yeah, it's a pretty good performance. It does seem to lose out to the i7's on single threaded performance, but since it has 16 threads it beats i7's that cost considerably more in multi-threaded benchmarks it seems. It might be at a bit of a disadvantage in gaming though, don't think there are any games that use more than 8 threads right now, and most still use 4 I believe. That will of course improve over time, so the Ryzen will age better than the current crop of Intel CPU's, but for here and now performance I think it's going to be pretty close.

Edit: These are apparently worst case scenario benchmarks. It was tested on an early prototype motherboard with slower memory than the i7's, and it seems that AMD's turbo mode wasn't working yet when they did this test either (which gives the 1700x a 0.4 ghz boost).

Mhmm and we haven't seen tests of their quad cores yet so...

Yeah, I can't wait to see those benchmarks, that's where my budget is at. If the 1200x and the 1300 beat the similarly priced high end i3's and low end i5's, I will most likely use one or the other in my next upgrade, paired with an Rx 480 or the lowest end Vega GPU (depending on pricing later this year).

Mhmm, what I am most curious to see is what will intel's response be provided everything is legit. Will they finally lower their 8 core prices to +-100 of the Ryzen prices? Cause if Intel say lowers the price of the 6900k to say $600, I might go for that instead cause some of the features are better such as quad channel ram, thunderbolt and etc.

You're not Vasto.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

If the price leaks and benchmarks are correct then AMD is going to absolutely destroy Intel in price to performance ratio. It's about time AMD got back in the game.

Those benchmarks Shika showed look very encouraging. Doubly so when putting price into account.

Yes Intel has been worried about profit margin these last few years and got caught with their pants down
